PLANNING COUNCIL

The responsibilities of the Planning Council are:
  • Establish service priorities and allocate funds within the EMA based on Ryan White legislation.

  • Develop a comprehensive plan for organizing, delivering, evaluating and monitoring HIV/AIDS related health and support services that seek to be compatible with existing State or local plans regarding the provision of HIV/AIDS-related services.

  • Assess the efficiency of the administrative mechanism in rapidly allocating funds to areas of greatest need within the eligible area.

  • Collaborate with state and local partners on initiatives to end the HIV epidemic.
